
At Orchid Trace Apartments we believe that our Military personnel
deserve a break for all of their hard work and dedication. That's
why we are offering our units to Active Duty; E4 and Lower (see
income limits to see if you qualify).
We are also waiving the application fee; holding fee; and security
deposit!
NO FEES for qualifying military! Only a $100 Re-decorating fee
is paid at the time
of lease signing.
We have reserved 50% of our units for the military who apply
through the
Rental Partnership Program. Until that quota is met we will give
preference
for any qualifying military member who is referred through the
RPP.

To ensure compliance with the Rental Partnership
Program (RPP)
the following procedure must take place:
1. The military member is required
to go to the Navy Housing Office to obtain internal paperwork
prior to going to Orchid Trace Apartments.
2. Once the Housing Office has received
the paperwork, they review additional paperwork for the military
member is required to provide in order to be eligible for the
program. If they are eligible they are given a Letter of Eligibility
to take with them to Orchid Trace Apartments.
3. The military member must complete
paperwork for Orchid Trace Apartments (i.e. application, employment
verification, previous landlord check, etc.). This process can
take 7 - 14 business days.
4. After the military member has
been approved for residency at Orchid Trace Apartments a unit
address will be assigned to the military member in our complex.
The Property Manager will then provide them with a completed Letter
of Intent and tell them to return to the Housing Office.
5. Once they are back at the Housing
Office with the proper paperwork, they complete the allotment
form and take it to PSD, bringing a completed copy back to the
Housing Office.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If the Property Manager qualifies a military member for an apartment
and a lease is signed prior to the Housing Office meeting with
the military member, they will not be able to be in the Rental
Partnership Program. |
